Mesrop Mashtots (
listen (help·info); Armeneg: Մեսրոպ Մաշտոց Mesrop Maštoc'; Armeneg Dwyreiniol: mɛsˈɾop maʃˈtotsʰ; Armeneg Gorllewinnol: mɛsˈɾob maʃˈtotsʰ; 362 – 17 Chwefror 440 OC) yn ieithydd, cyfansoddwr, diwinydd, gwladweinydd ac emynydd yn yr Ymerodraeth Sassanaidd o'r Oesoedd Canol Cynnar. Mae'n cael ei barchu fel sant yn yr Eglwys Apostolaidd Armenia, yr Eglwys Gatholig Armenia, yr Eglwys Uniongred Ddwyreiniol ac eglwysi Catholig.[1] Mae'n fwyaf adnabyddus am ddyfeisio'r wyddor Armeniaidd c. 405 OC, a oedd yn gam sylfaenol i gryfhau hunaniaeth genedlaethol Armenia.[2] Ystyrir ef hefyd fel crëwr yr wyddor Albaneg a wyddor Sioraidd Cawcasws gan nifer o ysgolheigion.[3][4][5][6][7][8]
